What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a Python Data Analyst to join our product development team. In this individual contributor role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our core Python data libraries, supporting new product development, and ensuring the reliability of our data analysis tools. You will work directly with the product team to debug issues and help build a robust foundation for our data platform.
Key Responsibilities:
● Library Maintenance & Development: Maintain, improve, and extend existing Python data libraries, with a primary focus on Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
● Product Development Support: Assist in the development of new data products and features by providing robust, reusable data processing components.
● Data Analysis & Debugging: Analyze and debug data-related issues within the libraries, ensuring accuracy and performance in data processing workflows.
● Team Support: Support other teams in adopting and effectively using the internal Python libraries and data tools.
● Process Improvement: Continuously improve code quality, documentation, and testing practices for the library codebase.
What We’re Looking For:
● 1-5 years of hands-on experience in a data analysis or data-focused Python development role.
● Mandatory strong proficiency in Python and the Pandas library for data manipulation and analysis.
● Ability to understand, debug, and improve existing code in a complex data processing environment.
● A problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Good to have :
● Familiarity with other data manipulation libraries like Polars.
● Exposure to e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, or related SaaS products.
● Understanding of data reconciliation concepts and financial operations.
● Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model with flexibility.
● Location: Mumbai preferred (for direct collaboration); strong candidates from Delhi NCR will be considered.
